I have been trying to concentrate on how to make my diet better and figuring out how I will still be happy while making changes in my life. Its not that easy. I have a great start with taking the Hoodia Prime pills, but I also know that I need to do more than just sit on my butt. I did start exercising and maybe thats why I am at the point that I am now. I feel so much better about myself. But I want to do more things than I was doing.
I am planning on getting out of the house more maybe go for a walk, going and visiting friends instead of just calling and talking on the phone. I am trying to figure out what to do at home to keep me busy (other than cleaning). I need to come up with a project but I am not very good at thinking up fun stuff. My fun stuff was sitting and staring at the t.v. trying to figure out what to watch and eating. That was all the fun I needed. I want more now.
Okay so I lost a total of 5lbs in 2 weeks and I feel pretty darn good. I know that doesn't sound like much, but it is just the start. I feel like I am getting my life back and it is an awesome feeling. I can only do better and better from here on out. When I look in the mirror, I don't see the disgusting fat girl that is usually staring back at me, I can actually see me. I am kinda cute. :) I like it.
I know that I am doing a lot of babbling but if it wasn't for Hoodia Prime getting me off to a great start, I don't know if I would of ever been here again. I Just want to say thank you to Nature's Biology. Your product is AWESOME! :) I will not be posting as often as I was. I will be finding other hobbies and exciting things to do. I will be back to let you all know what I am up to and how much more weight I am losing.
If you are thinking about losing weight you really need to try this its a miracle worker :
If you haven't read any of my other posts, you can read the rest here:
I just received an item on my e-mail entitled ("Weight Loss Tea" ) which is for a tea that someone has starting promoting. And yes, there are testimonials galore about how fast it worked, how easy it is, how many pounds were lost, etc., etc., etc. And I believe them - I truly do. As I mentioned before, almost any eating program you try will get rid of the excess weight - some better than others, but they all work if you stick with them - but, therein lies the problem - how many of us "stick with them"?
What I like about these ads is that they all have a free trial for 30 days, and if you are not satisfied, you will get all of your money back with no questions asked."money back guarantee" - I don't know about you, but it was more trouble that it was worth to send back the empty bottles and wait six to eight weeks to get my money back. I just chalked it up to what my daughters just absolutely hated for me to say to them "another learning experience". I've had more than my share of those, but I still bite once in a while, with the same results.
The ad that really invited close inspection by me was the one using Hoodia. Hoodia has been touted for several years as the "magic pill" and when I first started looking into it seriously, I learned that because it was a special herb and only grew in certain places, the quantity was not great enough to bring it to the market en-mass. What a wonderful pre-marketing tool. Now that I knew it was not available, I wanted it even more. It seems that enough can now be grown to feed the millions who really want to get rid of their excess weight, and the beauty of it is that I don't need or want it. But, if you look carefully at the directions, you will find that in order to get the best results you must eat light, healthy meals, with lots of vegetables, get a lot of exercise and drink water. Is there a diet plan on earth that doesn't require this? Yeah, there is, those dangerously unhealthy ones like the cabbage soup diet, the bird seed diet, the grapefruit diet, and those other diets that pare your choices down to only one or two items of food. But by and large they are all about the same as far as I am concerned.
I guess the gist of this is, whether you start today or any other day you will not find that "magic pill" that will allow you to eat whatever you want, when you want and as much as you want and still reduce your body weight - It just ain't there, my friend. You will still have to eat healthy, exercise and start realizing that you are the only one who can transform your body into that perfect body you want. That's what I am doing, and that's what I want to help you do.
I am lucky, I have worked on my plan for a long enough period that I don't have to look for the latest and greatest diet on the planet. I went to the Texans football game not too long ago (I live in the northwest part of the Greater Houston, Texas area) . My daughter Kathy and her husband Karl have season tickets, so we go to all of the home games. Normally I don't eat anything at the games because I really don't want most of what is available. I really don't want it, but yesterday I was hungry and ordered a foot-long all beef hot dog with all the trimmings. I ate most of it and was o.k. with that, but when I got home that night I felt absolutely horrible. I was bloated, I still had that stuffed feeling I always used to have when I ate too much, and I felt almost ill all night long. That's how far I've come. There was a time when I could have eaten all that, plus a fully loaded chocolate milkshake, french fries, a beer or two and still want dinner when I got home.
Since I have been following my program religiously, I have weaned myself off of large portions of food, most fried foods, most sugar laden foods and most breads. Notice I said "most"? I have my sweets, my breads and my fried foods whenever I want them, but they really don't taste as good as they used to. The one important thing I learned about a good maintenance program is that if you stay on it long enough, you lose your taste for what you once considered "must have" foods. Hamburgers are greasy and tasteless to me, milkshakes are too sweet, as are most desserts that have sugar, breads are too filling and nothing tastes like I remember it did when I was eating those foods all the time. But what is really great about my plan is that I have no desire to eat these foods. I committed to a perfect body weight when I started my last eating program, and really worked on my frame of mind while I was on the plan - I didn't want to get back up to 195 lbs or any other weight above what my current weight is, so I changed my way of thinking about food and about myself - and it worked - for me.
Anyone can reach this point if they really want to. I'm told that DESIRE, a true, unrelenting, compelling desire, is the first step to having what you really want. I have that desire and it has worked for me. Each day I give myself a big "HIP - HIP - HOORAY - I'M AT MY PERFECT BODY WEIGHT (THE WEIGHT I FEEL MOST COMFORTABLE WITH) and I plan to continue my successful program.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Seriously, Hoodia Prime is the best diet pill EVER!!! I don't know if I can say that enough. I am eating less and less. I took my first set of Hoodia Prime pills at 8:30 A.M. and then I started looking for an exercise video thing that I could do on 'On Demand' (just a side note, Cox Cable is awesome). :) So I found an exercise video that sounded exciting (Carmen Electra's Strip Tease... something) and I did that. I don't know about all of you, but I would love to be able to take my clothes off in front of my boyfriend without having to run to all the lights to turn them off first. :( He doesn't complain about the lights being on, I am just not comfortable with it yet. YET being the key word here. :D
ANYWAY, I did my exercising and when I was done with that, I wanted to do some more but I couldn't. Company started showing up and I didn't want to work out in front of anyone. For me right now it's embarassing. My family and friends think that I am an easy going, fun loving, don't care about what anybody else thinks kind of person but I'm not. I DO care about what other people think of me. I know that I shouldn't, but I do.
Okay, so my boyfriend took me out to lunch today and we went to the Roadhouse (Steakhouse). This was about 12:30 P.M. I hadn't taken my pills yet, and I wasn't hungry at all, but didn't want to take any chances. I took my Hoodia pills around 12:45 P.M. We had ordered a couple of appetizers and when they came, I picked at both (very little picking) between the both of us, we didn't even finish half of each. By the time my Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich showed up, I did try and eat it, but I was already feeling like I was going to blow up. I brought it home and it will sit there in the fridge until tomorrow.
I took my Hoodia Prime pills at around 5P.M. I am still not hungry and I am loving it. I am down to one meal a day. This just can't be better. This is perfect. I love food and I love my "away from home food" even better. I don't even want that. This stuff is working so great its UN-BELIEVABLE! I just would not believe it if I wasn't taking it myself. It's awesome stuff.
I just heard some things tonight that just make me think about what people might actually be thinking about me and yes, it is a little depressing. As much as it hurts to hear bad things, you just have to remember that this is for YOU not them.

If you want more info on the Bad A** Hoodia Prime (If you are considering ANYTHING, you really need to check this one out):
Yesterday I was not home to keep up with my daily report, but I wrote about that when I got home today. For the rest of the day today however, has been a pretty good day also. I wasn't hungry when I got home. I took my Hoodia pills while still at the hospital. That was about 9:30ish. I wasn't hungry. That might have been from taking my pills last night or it could have been from the doctors coming in and sayng that we will not be going home today. :( I am going to go with the first one. I am a depressive eater. If I am not happy about something, food keeps me company and lets me NOT think about the things that don't make me happy. I don't know if that is the right term for it, but that is what I am calling it right now.
Anyway, I had to come home, because I do have other kids I need to take care of. I got home about 1:30 P.M. maybe a little before. I did fall into the depressive eater thing again around 2:30 P.M. because I am just not used to being away from my son. I was ready to just sit in front of the T.V. with everything that I could find and eat, but I couldn't. I made some popcorn for one of my sons (so we can watch a movie together while I eat all his popcorn) but I had also made a Ramen noodle soup. I had half of my soup and I couldn't eat anymore. Needless to say, my son was very happy that I didn't eat any of his popcorn. I was very surprised also. I then took my second set of Hoodia Prime pills. Oh, I also took the laxatives for the 'cleaning'! :)
It is now after 10 P.M. and I am still not hungry. That is just very unusual for me because I would DEFINITELY be emptying out the fridge today. I just can't deal with depressing or sad things in my life. It just hurts too much. I have talked to my son a lot since I have been home, but it still isn't the same. I should be going to bed soon, so I hope that you ALL have a great night and with sweet dreams to follow.

If you want to know more about Hoodia Prime (which is saving me right now from self torture) you can get that here:
My day yesterday started off kind of slow. My son and I were not ready to go and spend the night in the hospital. It just wasn't going to be fun. I took my Hoodia Pills at about 8:30 A.M. and then I started to get ready for our sleep over at Children's Hospital. I didn't have anything for breakfast. I had a few glasses of water and a lot of running around making sure that I didn't forget anything.
We left around 2:15 P.M. I still didn't eat anything. I was worried about the McDonald's in the hospital. I wasn't hungry when we left, but when we got to the hospital McDonald's smelled so good. I broke down, I went and got a fish sandwich, fries and a few waters. When we got into our room, I couldn't eat right away because of the whole admitting thing. I wasn't starving or anything, it just smelled really good. I took my second set of the Hoodia Prime pills then. About an hour later, the doctors and nurses slowed down quite a bit, so I sat down and stared at my yummy food that I got before getting into the room. I didn't want to eat it, so I saved it for dinner.
At about 8 P.M. I was a little hungry, so I took my last set of Hoodia Prime pills and I ate my food. I could'nt finish it, so I thought that I would save it for later. Well, later came and I still wasn't hungry, so I decided to throw it away (which broke my heart). This was my first fast food since I started my Hoodia Prime diet.
Things went well being away from home for me and my son is doing very well also. :) Yesterday was a GOOD day.

If you want to know more on Hoodia Prime, that is here:
The dieting world was literally turned upside down when Effects Hoodia Side were found to be inexistent. This bulletin was greeted with a level of expectation by the dieting community everywhere that
the arsenal for weight loss had just been expanded to include a product that for once showed real promise.
In a remote area of South Africa, known only to the local population, there is plant looking like a small cactus which contains a unique molecule that can act as an effective appetite suppressant when you eat it. This miracle plant is known as Hoodia.
Looking at the local populations living in the area where the plant was discovered, it is somewhat difficult to imagine why they would need eat an appetite suppressant in the first place but in an environment where food is not as plentiful as it is in greener pastures, the need to trick the body into thinking that it is not hungry starts to make sense, particularly when long hunting expeditions are undertaken.
The need not to feel hungry for most folks in the rest of the world doesn't necessarily stem from the same set of realities, but it is all too real nevertheless. Never before has any society with access to so much food been so badly nourished, and these poor nutritional habits result in folks feeling hungry all the time. For these folks, Hoodia and its anti appetite properties is thus a real savior.
The fact that no have been reported is of course great news as anyone who takes a nutritional supplement knows. This is particularly good news for the many folks out there who have been struggling to lose weight unsuccessfully for a long time and are considering the use of Hoodia. For them the notion that their brain can be effectively tricked into thinking that they are full is indeed a breakthrough.
In an independent study, scientists revealed that patients who were given Hoodia over an extended period of time unconsciously reduced their daily calories intake by as much as 1000 calories.
The daily reduction of 1000 calories is extremely significant, particularly when one considers that it takes 3600 calories to lose one pound. Here we had patients who were losing on average a pound every 4 days, without going on a diet or adopting a fitness program.
Far from me to recommend that because you can take Hoodia, you can all of a sudden start eating all the wrong staff and still lose weight. Hoodia is highly effective but certain lifestyle changes are needed. Exercises are a must for any one, irrespective of their weight condition and you should ensure that you implement into your own life a routine which you can live with. Likewise for your choice of food: Eating a hamburger every day is known to be bad news for anybody. A lifestyle change for example would be to reduce the amount of junk food you eat, over time so that you can cope with the changes.
However, Hoodia can definitely act as your first line of attack when it comes to implementing lifestyle changes since the first thing you will notice is that you will automatically reduce the amount of daily calories you consume. With this first set of changes in place, you can then tackle other changes which you can reasonably manage and maintain.
After a life time spent dieting, most of us now recognize that diets don't work. If they did, obesity would not be the problem it is today costing nations billions of dollars in health care and other weight related financial losses and causing overweight folks to feel bad about themselves, both mentally and physically.
If you are really serious in losing weight, then Hoodia could be the very product your body has always craved for.
Hoodia is a known appetite suppressant. There are no Hoodia Side Effects reported and this miraculous plant extract can give you the ideal boost in your quest to lose weight, permanently, without having to go on the diet for the rest of your life.

So today is the first weigh in day and yes I was VERY scared. I dreaded it. I finally did get on that scale and what do you know. I lost 3 lbs. It was pretty darn exciting. Maybe if I would have moved my butt around a little bit more, it would have been more, but I am far from complaining. You have no idea how long I have been wanting to see myself in the 160's. It is some pretty DARN goods stuff. Hahaha... I am very happy and excited today. I almost want to go and celebrate with some Olive Garden or something. I said ALMOST! :P
So today, I took my first set of Hoodia Prime pills at around 9:27 A.M. after I weighed myself, ofcourse. This is so exciting. I was not hungry at all, but from the excitement of losing weight, I am definitely going to take my Hoodia. :) Make sure you drink a lot of water when you are taking the pills. I think it helps along with the pills AND keeps you from getting dehydrated. Not a good feeling. Especially when you aren't eating like you used to.
At about 2:30, I had a hot dog for lunch. Nothing exciting, just a hot dog with a little ketchup and some water. I wasn't that hungry so it was more than enough. I took my second set of Hoodia Prime pills at about 3:45 P.M. I wasn't hungry at all but I am just so happy. I am even more motivated to stick with this diet.
Alright, it is now 9:03 P.M. I ate a salad around 7:00 P.M. I am not hungry. I feel like if I even look at food right now, I am going to toss it at the wall. It has been a great day,. I am so happy. If you are happy for me too, then THANK YOU SO MUCH. I have been getting great comments and I am so appreciative. I am going to take my pills right now and have a great night.
OH, I know that this week was the "cleaning out" week, but I forgot I will not be home tomorrow. I will not be taking the laxatives tonight or tomorrow. I have to spend the night in the hospital with my son. Its nothing serious. It is just a ventilator check. I know that probably doesn't make sense to a lot of people, but I will explain that later. If I take the laxatives, I don't think that the hospital will like me too much. :D
Well, it has been great talking to you all. I hope you have a SUPER night and sweet dreams, always.

Each year, people spend more than $40 billion on products designed to help them slim down. None of them seem to be working very well.
Now along comes Never heard of it? Soon it'll be tripping off your tongue, because hoodia is a natural substance that literally takes your appetite away.
It's very different from diet stimulants like Ephedra and Phenfen that are now banned because of dangerous side effects. Hoodia doesn't stimulate at all. Scientists say it fools the brain by making you think you're full, even if you've eaten just a morsel. Correspondent Lesley Stahl reports.
"Hoodia, a plant that tricks the brain by making the stomach feel full, has been in the diet of South Africa's Bushmen for thousands of years."
Because the only place in the world where hoodia grows wild is in the Kalahari Desert of South Africa.
Nigel Crawhall, a linguist and interpreter, hired an experienced tracker named Toppies Kruiper, a local aboriginal Bushman, to help find it. The Bushmen were featured in the movie "The Gods Must Be Crazy."
Kruiper led 60 Minutes crews out into the desert. Stahl asked him if he ate hoodia. "I really like to eat them when the new rains have come," says Kruiper, speaking through the interpreter. "Then they're really quite delicious."
When we located the plant, Kruiper cut off a stalk that looked like a small spiky pickle, and removed the sharp spines. In the interest of science, Stahl ate it. She described the taste as "a little cucumbery in texture, but not bad."
So how did it work? Stahl says she had no after effects - no funny taste in her mouth, no queasy stomach, and no racing heart. She also wasn't hungry all day, even when she would normally have a pang around mealtime. And, she also had no desire to eat or drink the entire day. "I'd have to say it did work," says Stahl.
Although the West is just discovering hoodia, the Bushmen of the Kalahari have been eating it for a very long time. After all, they have been living off the land in southern Africa for more than 100,000 years.
Some of the Bushmen, like Anna Swartz, still live in old traditional huts, and cook so-called Bush food gathered from the desert the old-fashioned way.
The first scientific investigation of the plant was conducted at South Africa's national laboratory. Because Bushmen were known to eat hoodia, it was included in a study of indigenous foods.
"What they found was when they fed it to animals, the animals ate it and lost weight," says Dr. Richard Dixey, who heads an English pharmaceutical company called Phytopharm that is trying to develop weight-loss products based on hoodia.
Was hoodia's potential application as an appetite suppressant immediately obvious?
"No, it took them a long time. In fact, the original research was done in the mid 1960s," says Dixey.
It took the South African national laboratory 30 years to isolate and identify the specific appetite-suppressing ingredient in hoodia. When they found it, they applied for a patent and licensed it to Phytopharm.
Phytopharm has spent more than $20 million so far on research, including clinical trials with obese volunteers that have yielded promising results. Subjects given hoodia ended up eating about 1,000 calories a day less than those in the control group. To put that in perspective, the average American man consumes about 2,600 calories a day; a woman about 1,900.
"If you take this compound every day, your wish to eat goes down. And we've seen that very, very dramatically," says Dixey.
But why do you need a patent for a plant? "The patent is on the application of the plant as a weight-loss material. And, of course, the active compounds within the plant. It's not on the plant itself," says Dixey.
So no one else can use ? "As a weight-management product without infringing the patent, that's correct," says Dixey.
But what does that say about all these weight-loss products that claim to have hoodia in it? Trimspa says its X32 pills contain 75 mg of hoodia. The company is pushing its product with an ad campaign featuring Anna Nicole Smith, even though the FDA has notified Trimspa that it hasn't demonstrated that the product is safe.
Some companies have even used the results of Phytopharm's clinical tests to market their products.
"This is just straightforward theft. That's what it is. People are stealing data, which they haven't done, they've got no proper understanding of, and sticking on the bottle," says Dixey. "When we have assayed these materials, they contain between 0.1 and 0.01 percent of the active ingredient claimed. But they use the term hoodia on the bottle, of course, so they -- does nothing at all."
But Dixey isn't the only one who's felt ripped off. The Bushmen first heard the news about the patent when Phytopharm put out a press release. Roger Chennells, a lawyer in South Africa who represents the Bushmen, who are also called "the San," was appalled.
"The San did not even know about it," says Chennells. "They had given the information that led directly toward the patent."
The taking of traditional knowledge without compensation is called "bio-piracy."
"You have said, and I'm going to quote you, 'that the San felt as if someone had stolen the family silver,'" says Stahl to Chennells. "So what did you do?"
"I wouldn't want to go into some of the details as to what kind of letters were written or what kind of threats were made," says Chennells. "We engaged them. They had done something wrong, and we wanted them to acknowledge it."
Chennells was determined to help the Bushmen who, he says, have been exploited for centuries. First they were pushed aside by black tribes. Then, when white colonists arrived, they were nearly annihilated.
"About the turn of the century, there were still hunting parties in Namibia and in South Africa that allowed farmers to go and kill Bushmen," says Chennells. "It's well documented."
The Bushmen are still stigmatized in South Africa, and plagued with high unemployment, little education, and lots of alcoholism. And now, it seemed they were about to be cut out of a potential windfall from hoodia. So Chennells threatened to sue the national lab on their behalf.
"We knew that if it was successful, many, many millions of dollars would be coming towards the San," says Chennells. "Many, many millions. They've talked about the market being hundreds and hundreds of millions in America."
In the end, a settlement was reached. The Bushmen will get a percentage of the profits -- if there are profits. But that's a big if.
The future of hoodia is not yet a sure thing. The project hit a major snag last year. Pharmaceutical giant Pfizer, which had teamed up with Phytopharm, and funded much of the research, dropped out when making a pill out of the active ingredient seemed beyond reach.
Dixey says it can be made synthetically: "We've made milligrams of it. But it's very expensive. It's not possible to make it synthetically in what's called a scaleable process. So we couldn't make a metric ton of it or something that is the sort of quantity you'd need to actually start doing something about obesity in thousands of people."
Phytopharm decided to market hoodia in its natural form, in diet shakes and bars. That meant it needed the hoodia plant itself.
But given the obesity epidemic in the United States, it became obvious that what was needed was a lot of hoodia - much more than was growing in the wild in the Kalahari. And so they came here.
60 Minutes visited one of Phytopharm's hoodia plantations in South Africa. They'll need a lot of these plantations to meet the expected demand.
Agronomist Simon MacWilliam has a tall order: grow a billion portions a year of hoodia, within just a couple of years. He admitted that starting up the plantation has been quite a challenge.
"The problem is we're dealing with a novel crop. It's a plant we've taken out of the wild and we're starting to grow it,' says MacWilliam. "So we have no experience. So it's different? diseases and pests which we have to deal with."
How confident are they that they will be able to grow enough? "We're very confident of that," he says. "We've got an expansion program which is going to be 100s of acres. And we'll be able - ready to meet the demand.
This could be huge, given the obesity epidemic. Phytopharm says it's about to announce marketing plans that will have meal-replacement hoodia products on supermarket shelves by 2008.
MacWilliam says these products are a slightly different species from the hoodia Stahl tasted in the Kalahari Desert. "It's actually a lot more bitter than the plant that you tasted," says MacWilliam.
The advantage is this species of hoodia will grow a lot faster. But more bitter? How bad could it be? Stahl decided to find out. "Not good," she says.
Phytopharm says that when its product gets to market, it will be certified safe and effective. They also promise that it'll taste good.
