Tegretol is used for controlling certain types of seizures and relieving pain in patients with nerve pain in the face, jaw, tongue, or throat.

Topamax is used to treat certain kinds of seizures in patients 2 years of age or older. It is also prescribed to prevent migraine headache in adults.
