Trying to be sneaky with my Hoodia Prime

It is 2:15 A.M. on July 4. I haven't gone to sleep yet and I also haven't eaten anything yet. I don't want to eat, which is awesome and kind of weird at the same time right now. I am usually raiding the fridge at this time and watching some t.v. I feel like I should, but I don't really want that though. I think that keeping a blog about what I am going through and what I am feeling is working just as good as the Hoodia. Hahahahaha... okay, maybe the Hoodia Prime is doing most of the work. I just don't feel like grabbing everything from the fridge and laying in bed watching some late night shows AND my boyfriend sleep (and hope that he doesn't wake up and see me eating EVERYTHING). That was never a good thing. I think that he wonders sometimes how I got so big. Baby, that's what happened.

Anyway, I LOVE that I have Hoodia Prime and the internet. It has just been GREAT. Honestly. I was so excited tonight (or this morning) when I got on the computer and I had a comment. I just want to say thank you to Jamie so much for your encouraging words. You are very sweet. Thank you.

I have Hoodia Prime to keep me from running to the kitchen and people like Jamie to keep my hopes up. I can honestly say that I am going back to bed happy and saving tomorrows stress for TOMORROW!

Day FOUR of my Hoodia Prime diet

So it's 9:25 A.M. and I have just taken my first set of Hoodia. I am not hungry at all and I feel good. I feel so good I want to go and do some exercises. I just don't know what to do. I am not very big on exercising. I think that I will start that next week though. It's the 4th of July weekend coming up and I want to focus on the company and the food. I am kind of excited and VERY scared at the same time to see how well I stick to this diet with all the excitement going on. Well we will just have to see.

Now it is 1:47 P.M. and I just took my second set of Hoodia Prime pills. I am a little hungry so I think that I will have a salad again. It was very yummy yesterday. I feel great that I haven't been eating as much (not even close) to what I was eating before, but I think the stress of this weekend is starting to get to me. I really want this to work, but I don't want to give you false information or worst of all false hope. Don't get me wrong the pills have been wonderful. They have been doing their job. Right now, I don't know if I can do mine. This is not going to work if we don't work together. I'm sorry, I'm babbling. :(

Okay, so it is now 7:26 P.M. I am not hungry at all and I don't think that I will be eating dinner. I am still going to take my Hoodia Prime pills though. With all the stress that I am putting myself through today, I don't want to wake up in the middle of the night emptying out the fridge. Hahahaha... that's not really funny. Okay it kinda is, a little. Okay, so that is it for the night. I hope you all have a GREAT one. Sweet dreams. :)

Yay, I start my long Holiday weekend tomorrow. But I thought I would post quickly:

I got a comment on one of my blog posts and instead of answering it there, I thought I would devote a little space here to answer her. Here is her comment:

Please be really honest, i too have been stung with rip offs, I have hypothyroidism, and have gone from 8st 4 to 11 st over the last 2 years, with out a change im my diet. Have tried every diet and diet pill on the market including hoodia gordinii but nothing has worked just gave me palpitations!

please, does this hoodia prime really work, and how much weight have you lost to date?

First, Hoodia Prime REALLY DOES work. I promise you it works. BUT, it might not work the way I think you want it to work. First of all, it's not a thermogenic (creates body heat) or a stimulant (gets the nervous system going), so you aren't going to burn extra calories by taking Hoodia Prime.

What Hoodia Prime does is it suppressed your appetite, and if you eat less, you should lose weight. Hoodia Prime gives you that little extra edge you need when you're cutting calories, so that you're not trying to eat everything in the fridge.

But if you plan on just sitting around and doing nothing all day and stuffing your face with oreo cookies while you take your hoodia, then of course you cant lose weight.

You mentioned heart palpitations - I think you got screwed when you ordered your hoodia. Hoodia can't give you heart palpitations because it isn't a stimulant or thermogenic. What you took either had other ingredients in it other than hoodia that were giving you those dangerous side effects, or it didn't have any hoodia at all and instead had something unknown (how scary is that!?)

You wont "feel" hoodia prime, other than the fact that you wont be hungry. So if you are expecting to "feel" hoodia working somehow, then you wont, at least not the way you want it to.

I also can't really comment on hypothyroidism and using hoodia Gordonii together, as I don't know much about that. Sorry.

Day THREE of my fabulous Hoodia Prime diet

Hoodia Prime Diet PillsToday is July 2, 2008 and I have to say I am feeling pretty darn good today. It is 9:37 A.M. I just took the first set of my Hoodia Prime pills. I am not hungry at all. I didn't have anything for dinner again last night. I didn't forget this time. I just was not hungry at all. I didn't even grab a snack while watching some t.v.. I have been drinking a lot of water. I am doing better than I thought that I would be doing right now. Yay me! :D

It is now 2:27 P.M. and I am going to take my second set of pills. I ate a bowl of salad around 12:30ish. It was super YUMMY! I can actually enjoy my food more now. I ate a lot before because I just wanted to eat all the time and I have to say I was very good at it. I don't feel that way right now. I am not starving when I grab something to eat, so I don't have to eat too much before I am very full. I was thinking about how much I eat now and how much I was eating just last week. Its a big change. I thought about how I can have some of my snacks if I wanted to because I am not eating as much as I was before. I just don't want to though.  Isn't this GREAT?!?!?

Alright, so it is 6:12 P.M. I just took my last set of Hoodia Prime pills for the day. I have had a great day today. I just have been feeling giddy today. I don't know if its the pills or just the possibility of how far they will take me. I don't know. Its just been a very good day. Anyway, around 4:00 P.M. I ate half of half a burger that my boyfriend had made last night. He makes great burgers, I just couldn't eat anymore. Right now, I am not hungry at all and I don't think that I will eat dinner tonight. But we'll see. So you all have a great night. Be happy. Talk to you all very soon.

Day ONE of my Hoodia Prime diet

Okay, so I received the bottles of Hoodia Prime late Saturday and I decided that I was going to wait until today, Monday June 30. I will be starting my new diet today. New week, new start. To start, I think that I will post for the first 3-4 days and then take it down to about once a week. The reason for this is because almost every site that I've looked at, they said that they didn't feel anything (they still felt kinda hungry) for the first couple of days. Maybe that is a good thing. I don't want to NOT eat at all. It is 9:44 A.M. right now and I will be taking my first two pills. Okay, so now I have officially started. Yay!! I have high hopes for this. I usually don't eat breakfast anyway, but we will see when it is lunch time.

It is now 1:38 P.M. and I have just taken my second set of pills. I was a little hungry at lunchtime, but I wasn't ready to kill for food. Trust me I usually am about that time. I did eat very little and I feel pretty good. Another thing that I have noticed that is different and AWESOME is that I am not tired. I could very well take a nap right about this time. But I don't want to and I don't feel like I need to. Well, I will get back to this when it gets closer to dinner time.

Alright, it is 6:26 P.M. I am a little hungry, but I so don't need to eat. I could definitely go without eating tonight. I am however still going to eat a little something for dinner tonight. I am going to take my last set of Hoodia Prime pills right now and I will be back on tomorrow night to let you know about how everything is working out. Have a great night and sweet dreams. :D
I did not do any exercising today, well, except for some laundry and a little walking from room to room. I wouldn't really call that exercising though. :P I am trying not to change my way too fast or I fear I will give up. Don't want that.

How to Change Your Attitude towards Weight Loss

Several people who join a weight loss program with a lot of initial enthusiasm, think that it is as easy as a pie to lose weight, and that they can lose weight within a matter of weeks. When however, these people are faced with new challenges and barriers, they give up too easily, thinking that weight loss is totally impossible. African Plant May Help Fight Fat

CBS) Each year, people spend more than $40 billion on products designed to help them slim down. None of them seem to be working very well.

Now along comes hoodia. Never heard of it? Soon it'll be tripping off your tongue, because hoodia is a natural substance that literally takes your appetite away.

It's very different from diet stimulants like Ephedra and Phenfen that are now banned because of dangerous side effects. Hoodia doesn't stimulate at all. Scientists say it fools the brain by making you think you’re full, even if you've eaten just a morsel. Correspondent Lesley Stahl reports.


Hoodia is a bitter-tasting cactus-like plant. 60 Minutes was told that if it wanted to try hoodia, it would have to go to Africa. Why? Because the only place in the world where hoodia grows wild is in the Kalahari Desert of South Africa.

Nigel Crawhall, a linguist and interpreter, hired an experienced tracker named Toppies Kruiper, a local aboriginal Bushman, to help find it. The Bushmen were featured in the movie “The Gods Must Be Crazy.”

Kruiper led 60 Minutes crews out into the desert. Stahl asked him if he ate hoodia. "I really like to eat them when the new rains have come," says Kruiper, speaking through the interpreter. "Then they're really quite delicious."

When we located the plant, Kruiper cut off a stalk that looked like a small spiky pickle, and removed the sharp spines. In the interest of science, Stahl ate it. She described the taste as "a little cucumbery in texture, but not bad."

So how did it work? Stahl says she had no after effects - no funny taste in her mouth, no queasy stomach, and no racing heart. She also wasn't hungry all day, even when she would normally have a pang around mealtime. And, she also had no desire to eat or drink the entire day. "I'd have to say it did work," says Stahl.

Although the West is just discovering hoodia, the Bushmen of the Kalahari have been eating it for a very long time. After all, they have been living off the land in southern Africa for more than 100,000 years.

Some of the Bushmen, like Anna Swartz, still live in old traditional huts, and cook so-called Bush food gathered from the desert the old-fashioned way.

The first scientific investigation of the plant was conducted at South Africa’s national laboratory. Because Bushmen were known to eat hoodia, it was included in a study of indigenous foods.

"What they found was when they fed it to animals, the animals ate it and lost weight," says Dr. Richard Dixey, who heads an English pharmaceutical company called Phytopharm that is trying to develop weight-loss products based on hoodia.

Was hoodia's potential application as an appetite suppressant immediately obvious?

"No, it took them a long time. In fact, the original research was done in the mid 1960s," says Dixey

  • You may not be able to take Hoodia, or you may require special monitoring during treatment if you have any of the conditions or are taking any of the medicines listed above.
  • Hoodia has not been evaluated by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or purity. All potential risks and/ or advantages of Hoodia may not be known. Additionally, there are no regulated manufacturing standards in place for these compounds. There have been instances where herbal/ health supplements have been sold which were contaminated with toxic metals or other drugs. Herbal/ health supplements should be purchased from a reliable source to minimize the risk of contamination.

It’s that time of the year

What do you know, itʼs June and the sun is shining and the bathing suits are trying their best to squeeze out of the drawers. Kind of depressing, donʼt you think? Okay, it is for me anyway. I want to go and have fun with my kids at the beach or the pool, but no one can really have fun wearing jeans and a tee shirt or shorts and a sweater, trying to be cute while sweating your butt away. I have decided it is time to try and do something to better my appearance, not just for myself but for my kidʼs sake also. But this is a little more for me. I am not the hottest thing in town, not even close, but it doesnʼt hurt to feel like I am. I have tried a few diets. They SUCKED!! I will not name names right now, because there is a good chance this next one that I am going to try will be just another name on the you SUCK list.

I have decided that if I keep a blog on the internet then that will insipre me to keep to my goals to lose this weight this summer. Good luck to ME and you.

Are You Losing Weight With Hoodia Prime?

Yes, I am down 5 more pounds over the past 2 weeks while using Hoodia Prime and changing my diet.  I  know that doesn't sound like a lot when compared to crazy claims made by manufacturers, but I am inching my way forward. 

Here are two of myself, one from my 1st week and another about 10 days after (and yes, I started tanning, no matter how bad I know it is for me.... it just makes you look slimmer. There's a 5 pound difference).

Keep in mind that when people lose more than 3 pounds per week, it's usually going to be water weight or they are losing muscle along with their fat.  I don't want either of those.  And I know I am losing fat and not muscle because the weight training I am doing hasn't suffered.  If I was losing muscle, then my workouts would be harder to do, and they're not.

I want to go a full 30 days before I post up more photos, as it is hard to see much difference from week to week (as you can see in the above photos) even though I AM losing weight.
